How does certain battery apps know how hot the battery is? If so, maybe we can tell the actual temperature on our devices. I know the galaxy nexus has the barometer. Do we have thermometers? I remember my tbolt when it got hot, the battery app showed it at 116.0F°. How does it know? My RAZR says it is 95.0°F.
