BOGO question

My girl friend's contract is up and so is mine.

Both of us have unlimited data to be grandfathered in.

Can we BOGO our phones with out joining the accounts?

Last time I checked they don't have to be in the same account, but the accounts do have to be under the same name.

My mind must work in riddles then:

You can use the BOGO on two different accounts, but only if both accounts are in the same name:

i.e. If his girlfriend's account is under his name, they can use BoGo. If his girlfriend's account is in her name, then that means the accounts do not have the same name, and will not be able to use the BoGo.
