Re: ICS rumblings for Razr??
I can be patient and wait. The question I have "are developers going to wait?" What I mean is android cannot become the platform you build an app for first if only 7% of devices have ICS. I am enjoying the number of apps but I still prefer the WP7, I do enjoy android not hating.

Re: ICS rumblings for Razr??
I'm hopeful, but had my reservations. I saw the report it was the 12th on Android Community, but no where else. Even the Best Buy memo in April had more traction than this. But with no soak test having even started yet...????
Also, I get the "it'll come when it comes" line, but come on. This is a joke. 7.1% of devices and it's been out for what, 8 months now? I don't care who's fault it is. I'm not looking to point any fingers. Just saying it's ridiculous. I know that some delay is the cost of having a choice in hardware and carriers and whatnot. But 7.1% in 8 months?!?!?!
And if the manufacturers stick to their word that they'll stop releasing so many different devices, that will help speed up the updates in the future. I like what Samsung did with the GN and GS3 putting them on multiple carriers, instead of a different phone for each carrier like Moto and HTC do.Last edited by kombatkarl; 06-12-2012 at 10:29 AM.

Re: ICS rumblings for Razr??
I have a hard time believing anyone at this point, but a poster on CNET said he called Verizon to ask about the update and the rep said it was scheduled for today.

MOTO did a hell of a job with it on the RAZR.....

Curious... Are you sending it back with the leak installed? Did they say they will accept it like that?

Re: ICS rumblings for Razr??
Just make sure you load up .75 or .79 if you want to be able to get back to the update path easily. Just Google ICS 6.14.75 or ICS 6.14.79 and you will get links to other sites with all the necessary information and files. I am getting ready to flash .79, I am tired of waiting.
