How do I stop my phone from defaulting to/preferring names in my address book over regular English words when I'm texting?

Literally, if I have, for example, "Leo Tolstoy" as a contact and I try to text someone "let's talk" it will autocorrect/suggest/predict "Leo" over "let's" and "Tolstoy" over "talk".

This is the stupidest thing ever lol -- please help!!!

Not sure about Motorola's settings... but on my phone its Menu> Settings> Language & Input> Android Keyboard Settings> Advanced Settings> Suggest Contact Names... for suggestions/corrections.
