Is anyone else having problems with playing audio on ics? Be it music or video, I'll go to play something and even with the volume all the way up it no sound will come out. Notification sound and ringtone still work though. :/ A reboot fixes the problem temporarily... Any suggestions? I'm trying to avoid a factory restore, but that is probably the only solution...

I have a different problem related to sound to, not sure if ICS is the cause. Every time I connect the aux cable from my car or a headphones, I can listen the music and evertyhing seems to be working ok. but when I disconnect my phone I have no sound at all, no music, no ringtone, i can even heard the voice from a call. it is like if the phone think that the aux cable is still plug in when it is not anymore. I have to restart the phone every time i used the headphone plug, this is really annoyin. can any one help me?

I have experienced the same problem. I also have done a couple of factory resets so I think that it it just a software bug. It has only happened 3 times in a week. I have been able to get sound to start playing normally by going into sound settings and sliding the sound slider back and forth.

I had the same problem today. It happened twice, no sound in music or on you tube. My solution, went to settings sound and checked ringtone sound. Ringtone worked and then all of sound came back on player and you tube. very strange
