I've really been having problems trying to install the ICS update for my sisters RAZR... It would download without a problem, but when it gets to to install part its gets about a quarter of the way done and fails... Her phone is stock, but it's also rooted. Does anyone know what the problem could be? I've even wiped it and the update still fails. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance....

Did you try to unroot it? The update should remove root but it can also cause it to fail in situations. I would say go that route and then it that doesnt work at least its stock and you can go into verizon and have them look at it..

Search this forum. Did she ever install SAFESTRAP/BOOTSTRAP? If so, there is some manual cleanup required. factory reset wont fix that either.
