Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
I have resorted to turning off LTE. At this point I wonder why I have a LTE phone if i cannot use it?

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
Do you have LTE I. Your area? I find that when I am in an area without 4g my phone is constantly searching for the 4g signal.

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
4G/LTE sucks battery down like a hog. I use a app called "phone info" from the play store it allows you to change the network the phone searchs for. So if I am in a area with no 4G I switch off 4G. Or if 1x has a stronger signal then 3G I switch off the 3g.
3G uses less battery then 4G so at night I just leave 3G on to save battery.

I also turned off the global capabilities, seeing I don't plan to leave the country any time soon.

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
You could set Smart Actions to turn off cellular data when the screen is off. That worked out well for me.

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
4G is a battery hog and that's why I dropped the RAZR and got a Maxx. I went from a Thunderbolt with extended battery to a RAZR and I couldn't do it. Maybe a factory reset though as many with a Maxx did this after the the update

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
I have the regular Raze( wife &I just got them a couple of weeks ago), I am using iKReam.ics.6-R3Ds rom. I am using the phone constantly, at work it's either tune in radio or power amp plus text and calls. At home I started playing angry birds in between TVs commercials and checking forums & again calls. Now also using hotspots to connect my wife's computer to internet cause router went down.

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
There's no way a regular razr is getting that much battery with that much usage. Sorry.

Re: Droid razr batteryy question?
Me and my wife do thanks to a battery script and a couple of other tweaks, just because you can't or are not skilled enough to figure out how to do it yourself. Here's a tip, do some research, the info is out there!
