Verizon droid xt912 questions, please help

Hey everyone,

so I'm sure there's already a thread for this, but I'm so frustrated at this point I'm just going to throw it out there. I bought the Verizon Driod XT912 from an online store and used it on Verizon while I was in the US but now I'm home and I need to be able to use this phone on the Rogers network in Canada. I can get texts and phone calls but it says it doesn't recognize the SIM card, I've heard rumours that this phone isn't unlockable... is this true and I'm just up the river without a paddle on this one?

Not unlock able. Can only use it on international gsm networks
