Main point: Is there any way to change the MMS compression level without using an app like GOSMS?
I'm sure all Epic users can relate to me here -- I have an iPhone 4 buddy. I notice that his iPhone constantly sends me MMS that are 100kb - 150kb. When I send photos, they are compressed down to a measly pathetic 14kb - 20kb.
I constantly want my Epic to do everything an iPhone can...I have the mentality of: if an iPhone can, why not my phone? I've rooted my phone to EH06 Gingerbread stock. From what I can tell, most cell carriers will allow 300kb+ MMS. So is there any way to set the MMS sending limit so every photo I send doesn't end up a botched, pixelated mess.
Also, apps like GOSMS, Handcent (or however you spell it) don't send MMS on the Epic from what I've tested. So that doesn't work. Any ideas now?
