Hello! i recently tried to root my phone with Odin 1.81 and the first run failed. after which i restarted my phone but now it only loads to an image of a phone with a failed connection to a computer with an orange caution triangle between the 2.

ive gotten it back into download mode and tried doing a recovery with odin which also failed

ive download the android sdk, updated the adb platform tools, tried to run the adb reboot/recovery commands from my dos prompt (NOTE this was before attempting the root). Ive looked around and havent been able to find any solutions mostly due to the fact that i really dont know wahts what.

Any help would be grealty appreciated

When in download mode (hold 1 on the keyboard and turn the power on), does ODIN show it as connected (one of the boxes will be yellow and show a com number)? If it does, try to do it without the battery and SD card. If not, try a different cable, port, or even computer. Make sure the drivers downloaded from samsungs site are installed.
