Post your benchmark results here!
Hey guys, was wondering what every one has been getting for their benchmarks, if you haven't run any, might be fun to check it out and compare =D
Neocore might be hard to find, but if you Google it, you can side load it with ease.
Neocore: 54.5
Linpack: 7.719 avg, 8.116 best
Fps2d: 55=avg stdev = 4.78
Quadrant: 945
Nenamark1: 45.5
SetCPU: Short=195.0 Long=753 Native= C: 830.721 NEON: 345.56
Now keep in mind this all on 2.1 without over clock or JIT enabled. Cant wait till froyo blows the linpak and Quadrant numbers out of the water!
UPDATE: with 1.2ghz oc'd kernel
Neocore 55.7
Linpack 9.687
FPS2D 55 stdev 2.84
Quadrant 1016
Nenamark1 51.1
SetCpu: Short-150 Long-646 Native: C -907.98 Neon 324Last edited by liquidjesus; 09-22-2010 at 03:33 PM.

Just hit 998 in Quadrant with the Grimey Goods ROM. Imagine that with Froyo! Probably hit the 2000's!

Running Rooted Epic 4g Grimey Goods ROM with overclocked processor and undervolted cpu:
Quadrant: 998
Linpack: 9.588
Fps2d: 55fps/stdev=4.28
SetCPU: 1200mhz max, 200 min
Neocore: 55.6 fps
Nenamark1: 44.1 fps (lagging for some reason, every time mostly near the beginning) - 09-19-2010, 03:50 PM #11

I have been thinking about getting an epic on 10/1 and are those benchmarks really acceptable? Aren't there more than a few other phones getting above 2000. I though the galaxy S phones were supposed to have the best hardware available. Will 2.2 and a custom rom really more than double the benchmark results?

the answer is yes.
For example, on the evo, prior to 2.2, people were getting 8-10 on the old linpack,(equivalent to about 6-9 on the new one). With 2.2, and JIT eneabled, those benchmarks jumped up to over 40 linpack.
But even that aside, without 2.2 and JIT, the graphics on this devices, and the fps, blow the evo out of the water.
So the hardware is top of the line, now we wait for the software to catch up.
UPDATE: with 1.2ghz oc'd kernel
Linpack 9.687
Quadrant 1016
Neocore 55.7
FPS2D 55 stdev 2.84
Nenamark1 51.1
SetCpu: Short-150 Long-646 Native: C -907.98 Neon 324
Overall it seems the stoopid fast oc kernel is a success@Last edited by liquidjesus; 09-22-2010 at 03:31 PM.

Only ran Quadrant. No root: 945.
Seems to be right around the base Epic score. - 10-17-2010, 12:48 AM #25
Dang, lafountain's scores are pretty high without root. I only got 998 at the highest with overclock and root.
