Following some instructions found in the XDA-dev forums and doing a little exploring myself, I've gotten my Epic 4g over to Cricket.

MMS doesn't work yet, but I'm looking for that solution. The Sprint Hotspot utility works... Free WIFI for my laptop is always nice. Worried about the Froyo update...

Anyone else make the move?

Cricket dosent have enough coverage IMHO for me to even look at them. I was looking at their air cards but found that I wouldnt get coverage in any of the areas I travel so I stuck with sprint.

I thought about getting an Epic 4g over to cricket, but when I enter my zip code on there website, it said that service isn't offered in that area. Thinking about getting the Epic over to another company which doesn't tie you down to a contract:pageplus, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, etc. You think that process would be similar to the one you following in getting your Epic over to the cricket? So far, i can't find anything other than incomplete information on MetroPCS. Thanks!
