Can i used a kernel design for another phone on my epic...

like a droid x kernel on my epic
like a vibrant kernel on my epic

No you can't, kernels are device-specific. All flashing a kernel from another phone will do is activate paperweight-mode on your Epic

nope. definitely not.

the droid x has a totally different chip in it, but i dont know about the vibrant.
you definitely wouldnt be able to use a rom because epic 4g has touchwiz 2.5

idk the science behind it but its definitely a big no no
