Note: this is not a ROM, but a patch you can install on top of a ROM

Features
This brings the Froyo (Android 2.2) Dalvik Virtual Machine (DVM) to Eclair.
Codename FroYo = Frozen Yoghurt + Eclair = Frozen Eclair
Speed of Apps doubles in average compared to Eclair !
As a welcome side effect your battery will last some hours longer.
It also brings with it additional libraries compiled for best performance
with some added tweaks.
But it only works for deodexed Firmwares !
The negative side : A few Apps may not work, mostly games.
Starting with V7 Frozen Eclair also contains the Turbo Kernel as some
bugfixes to improve stability have been merged.

Samdroid Turbo Kernel
Linux Kernel for the GT-I5700 compiled with maximum compiler
optimizations for best possible speed plus some performance tweaks.

Changelog
Frozen Eclair V7
Seems to be the most stable version ever
Many bugfixes and improvements merged from latest AOSP and Kernel 2.6.35 sources
Camera Bugs fixed (read comment below)
Gabriel-LG's awesome Multitouch Driver v2
From now on you will always find a known stable, a beta and, if needed,
a bugfix package inside this little post
Known Problems:
Shortly before the release it was discoverd that the Camera driver i merged
from another Samsung Phone fixes the dark camera bug, but also some settings
in the camera app no longer work. I will try to find a fix, but for the moment it
is still in this release. Taking pictures works without problems.
Another problem is that there is still some lag in the UI sometimes.
This will be fixed in the next release.

Yes, it is what's in noobnl's ROM - but FYI I've been reading reports that it is a little buggy (it is still in beta after all). Could be fun to play around with though if anyone is interested.

"noobnl changed the OP in his JIT thread to state that SetCPU is not stable with JIT right now, and you must clear dalvik cache before flashing JIT. I guess you have to use Overclock widget instead."
