modem firmware

II got gingerbread install yesterday,when the system ask me to up date firmware from EF10 to EF02 i canceled later on that night I shut it off and after restart I did the up date but it went wrong and I was with out the modem.The firmware shows unknown.I went home install ef10 with odin3 and everything went back to normal, but know it ask me again to do the update. i do the update, but the phone wont take it every time I restart the phone it ask me to do the upgrade.

There is a command.to disable.it. I forgot. Google it. Google stop ef02 update pm Samsung. That is all I remember.

Thanks but what its doing is going back and forward if i install ef10 it want me to instal ef02 and if I have ef02 it want me to go with ef10

one more thing the phone is not going on debugging mode any more.

i am still able to use odin, but at the top bar the debugging message don't show any more

Are you rooted? If so, two options:
1. Titanium Backup Pro - freeze System Updates
or
2. Terminal emulator - type "su" and then enter - check allow (for the emulator to gain root access)
then type "pm disable com.samsung" and enter.
