Hopefully closer to OTA!! But I'll be sticking with CM9 or AOKP ROMs. But the source code should make those ROMs even more stable right?

And AOKP just updated to build 37 and is using the FE21 kernel....so far it's very stable.

Will this update wipe all your contacts and apps? I just rooted my phone and backed it up, but I do not want to lose anything.

Have you ever installed a custom rom before?

No, but I figured it out, and flashed it. I do not like it though, and will be going back to stock.

I did not like the way the phone felt. The phone did not feel as smooth as does on stock ginger bread. I did not like the fast flickering scrolling, and the web pages did not reflow the text. Some apps that I use for work are not optimized for ICS, and that is very important to me. Maybe the official release will fell better, but I was not happy with the current build, so I went back to stock with the nice smooth scrolling with the bounce.

It's not much of a different look really. App drawer is different, and there's a bit more customization. But you still have that gingerbread look in all respect. However, i prefer the stock launcher over touch wiz lol

Downloaded FE22 a few days ago, and I like it. ICS is a great experience, and I am now able to use apex launcher which is sweet. Just wish chrome beta wasn't so screwy.
