So I flashed it, rebooted and it never made it past the Samsung Galaxy S 2 boot screen. Just sat there for 10 minutes. Now I can't get past the no battery sign even though I dont believe it is low on battery. FML

Now I get to the screen where it says Galaxy S2 with the yellow triangle with the exclamation point at the bottom. Will rebooting into odin help?

Here's my problem: now the screen is totally blank. I cant seem to boot into Odin. Pushing any combination of buttons and pulling the battery have no effect. This one seems to be a goner.

Oh boy...does the blue light come on? Blue LED? Do you have a JIG?

Yes to the blue LED, no to the JIG. I declared the phone DOA and traded it in on a Galaxy S3 this morning. Sprint was nice enough to give me $140 in trade in for my non-booting S2, so I'm not too peeved.

It was perm bricked. Data partition was corrupt.

Is this safe? I was just about to flash it and check out the OTA. Did the guy who bricked his phone flash it from an ICS recovery or something?

Im still looking into it. This uses a gingerbread binary so it brick safe. Im still looking into it.
