I paid for a navionics app that shows detailed lake contours to help me learn the local lakes I'm going to fish.

I tried to download it on my nexus 7 but it says its not compatible with this device.

If I back it up to the cloud in my backup pro or a similar program, do you think I could load it that way?

Or any other recommendations?

Yes. You can also use es file explorer. Go into the program. Press menu. Choose app manager. Push and hold on the app in question. Select backup. It will be in a folder on your SD card called backups

Another option is to email file to yourself in Gmail and install that way.. That's what I usually end up doing.
