Can't update to the new firmware?

Hi all, I'm not very good with anything technical, but my phone is rooted with the FL27 firmware. I keep getting reminders to update to new one, but whenever I try, I get an error. I am assuming that's because I'm rooted. I looked around but couldn't find the procedures for updating my phone and staying rooted. Am I missing something?

Yes it is most likely to be that a rooted phone is not going to update. Fortunate for you because the new update has caused many problems.

FL27 is the latest OTA. There is no new update. And root has nothing to do with otas failing, the only reason it failed is if you changed something on the system partition.
