Sprints hard case....

Is a piece of crap. Just dropped my Evo with it on and all it did was break apart. One piece flew one way and the other in the next. Waste of money. I need one of those iskin cases they make for the iPhone and Blackberry.

Don't waste your money. I wonder if I can return it.

I got the gel case from the sprint store for $12 after my premier discount. It seems decent and doesn't add much bulk like some of the iphone cases I've seen. But I haven't dropped my EVO to give it a good test....

I have the Black Body Glove which I originally bought as a stop back because I didn't have anything, and wanted to protect the camera lens. I was going to order the Seidio Innocase, but I actually like it so far, but I haven't drop it yet. But, I doubt it will come off easy. I was tough to put on and even tougher getting it off.

Where did you hear that the white case from Sprint has been recalled? For what reason would they recall a case?

I'm pretty sure it was. I guess I will have to wait for others to drop theirs haha to see if its just me.

When I was in my local Sprint store yesterday a guy brought back a case he didn't like and they returned it no problem. I think it was the body glove one.

Not sure what they would do about a broken one, but it's made to protect your phone so it shouldn't just shatter into pieces if you drop it.

I cannot recommend the Innocase Surface II highly enough. Smooth industrial lines that look great on the EVO, and just thick enough it keeps your camera off your desk and provides good protection. The Seidio screen protector is also pretty awesome, unlike invisible shields and such it isn't sticky and if applied right you can't even tell there is one on.

If the case shattered when you dropped it, then it did it's job. That is that much energy absorbed into the case (and launching it across the room) rather than your phone.

I got the rubber case at first, but it was REALLY difficult to hit the power/volume buttons through it. Then I got a Pt "clamshell" case that clips around the edge of the phone (not the one that is two halves top and bottom). It has a sort of alligator pattern on it. It's slightly soft and very durable. Looks like the best of the bunch out so far, but I have only seen this one that I snatched up in stores.
