I was excited about it until I saw the new back cover. It looks like herpes.

Wow... That is quite the battery cover... It looks like a square headed android face without facial features... Maybe they should add two beedy little eyes to it.

I bought my EVO to use it, not to admire the looks. Plus, this new back cover looks like it will protect the camera lens very well, by keeping it above whatever surface you lay the phone on.
My only concern is the price. $70 is a lot of cash, and the stock battery isn't all that bad. I'll probably get one when it comes out, but I'll have to think about it. - 06-24-2010, 08:48 AM #9
no thanks, Ill happily keep using my spare battery

I understand that performance is what you want....but at what price. Some things are too hideous to bother with. This is one of them.

A standard size ~2000mah battery (actual tested mah, that is) to just extend the EVO to a good, full day would probably fit most users needs.
BTW battery engineers, what the hell happened to those great fuel cell phone batteries that were suppose to get a week's use per charge?!? Screw flying cars, give me my dang long lasting battery!!! - 06-24-2010, 05:09 PM #17
