I've been using the HTC calendar for a while now. Every event that I've entered I've just let it default to the 'pc sync' calendar because I hadn't set up a google calendar yet. So, today I created a gmail account that I'll only use for the calendar. I added it to the Evo but the existing calendar events won't sync with the google calendar. I'm wondering if it has to do with the 'pc sync' selection and how can I get the existing events to upload to the gmail calendar?

Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Thanks, Crystal

Big difference from when these things first launched. I guess after three years that'll happen. I finally went ahead and upgraded to the Galaxy S4. I was tired of the Evo's constant restarting and home-screen-reloading. Not that it wasn't a good phone, overall, but those two issue majorly annoyed me. Maybe I'll throw the Evo up on Ebay, see what I can fetch for it.

True merge of facebook/gmail contact information (and I do not mean linking)

I have a lot of friends that post info into their facebook accounts, and have a lot of people listed in my gmail contacts. Most of these people are the same people, and I have my phone set up to show both sets of lists and to merge them into single contacts where appropriate.

My real issue is that i want to do a TRUE merge of data - pull all the information from facebook and actually insert that into my gmail contacts. Not just "visually" link them. So for instance facebook says my contact has a birthday on Jan 1. I want this information to actually migrate into my gmail contact field.

Anyone know how to do this?
