Need your guys expertise here, recentkynmynphone has been sucking up memory like no other. Even after a soft restart the memory starts to deteorate like no other.

I've tried to uninstall programs I wasn't using and that didn't help as well. I then began to do some troubleshooting of my own by monitoring the tasks when the phone starts to even killing processes when my phone freezes with the built in task manager.

To no avail nothing has helped, if you guys could help me out I would appreciate it.

I'm attaching some screen shots for reference.

Hello,
I searched but couldn't find an answer. My Samsung Galaxy S3 (not rooted) only shows phone numbers on incoming calls and texts, but not names, when I get a call from a known contact. What is causing this issue? How do I make it so I always see the name with the phone number?

When I look at recent calls, some of the recent calls will show the actual name, and many don't.

I appreciate your help.

I'm contemplating switching to either a GS3 or a GS4. I doubt I will ever use all the gimmick features that comes with an S4. And I don't need the latest and greatest. But I do need a reliable phone. Going through posts I noticed a lot of issues with GS3 radios, so a lot of issue with dropped calls and not getting any type of signal. With that said I need a phone to be a phone, it needs to have great call quality. I am typically very careful with my phone and do expect it to use it for at least 2 years before switching again. Which phone would you recommend?

Wondering if using a free hotspot that turns on the native Verizon hotspot is fine or will Verizon charge me? I have unlimited data, with no share plan therefore it doesn't come with a courteous hotspot.

Basically I don't want the hotspot changing my unlimited data plan. I previously used foxfi but after the jellybean update, it started the native Verizon hotspot as well. Didn't want any surprise charges so I stopped using it.

It's been a while since browsing the boards so I was just wondering if anyone has continued using an outside hotspot, and whether or not they got extra charges or ran into trouble with Verizon.

I have my SIII paired with my home phone (answerable via my phone handsets), and also my car. When connected to the home phone, it will not auto connect to the car when I start the car. If I first go into the Bluetooth menu and disconnect from the home phone it connects just fine. For all other stops on my trips around town, since it is not connected to the home phone because of distance, it will auto connect just fine. The latter is true even if I do not manually disconnect from the home phone. It loses the connection due to distance at some point. I can turn off the engine at a stop sign, and restart, and the phone connects just fine. Is there a way to prioritize the connections, or somehow make the car the first one the phone connects to?
