I've been trying to customize the look and feel of my phone. One area I've been working on is notifications, especially lock screen.

Here is my issue. I'd like to use NiLS to create lock screen widgets. However, our work uses Exchange and has a security requirement of using at least a PIN. The stock app uses a device level PIN, in other words, I have to put it in at the lockscreen.

That creates a problem, as it appears I cannot add or change the lockscreen widgets when the PIN security is enabled. In fact, the use multiple lockscreen widgets option completely goes away when the PIN is enabled.

One solution may be to use Touchdown, since that uses an App level PIN rather than at the device level (ie I don't put the PIN in until I open touchdown rather than at the lockscreen). Will lockscreen widgets works with Touchdown since there is no device level PIN required? Will emails even show up from touchdown on a lockscreen widget?

Google Now is able to look at my stock calendar and tells me what events I have upcoming. Will it do the same with Touchdown's calendar?

Thanks for any help

When I first got it, the light effect was a little pinpoint light that followed your finger when you swiped across it.
It still follows the finger but it's not a fine pinpoint anymore. More like big octagonal.
What could cause that?
It's on light effect and not ripple.

Sincerely,
An amazing S4

One of the reasons I purchased the S4 was the ability to have a removable battery. I have installed an Anker 5200 Mah battery in the S4. It comes with a removable back cover in either black or white. My S4 is white and the new white back cover is a very nice fit. Of course it makes the phone bulge somewhat and it is heavier, but you can get use to it very quickly when you never, ever have to look at the battery percentage and worry if you can get through a long day. I have used Anker products before and they are pretty good. The battery is warranteed for 18 months. If you can get used to the extra weight it's pretty nice. I ordered a extended battery TPU case from Hyperion that fits it nicely.

I had my Sprint S4 in my man purse tonight and while driving it started talking. Kept saying something about "upgrading data network" ... "scanning" and something about a "database". Repeated it about 6 times. Long enough that I was able to fetch the phone and unlock it to see that nothing was in the notification tray abnormally other than a Facebook unread message.

I might have temporarily roamed as I was in a known weak Sprint cell area

WTF was that? My phone isn't rooted and I don't do warez...

Any ideas?

Thanks...

Hello, I'm new here...and I hope someone else hasn't asked this question before. But tomorrow, I should get my GS4! Currently have about 2,700 songs on my external hard drive. (iTunes) I know of a program to put your iTunes onto an Android device. Easy Phone Sync........Do you think 2,700+ songs should cover this 16GB phone? Will there be any slowness or lag in the phone? Or should I just bite the bullet and buy a SD card?
Thanks in advance!

I'm going to be receiving my S4 soon and I'm wondering what the quality of the earphones are like. I've used Iphone 5's earphones and they were...pretty good. Is the S4's better or is it worth investing in a different earphone? I'm currently looking at Klipsch Image S4A (II) and DNA In-Ear Pure Monster Sound, which one of these two would you recommend if not the S4 earphones? Looking forward to some advice's and opinions!
