Facebook (and FB Messenger) will not work over wi-fi. The newsfeed will not update and images do not appear. When I turn off the wi-fi on the phone and force it through the 4G data stream, everything appears instantly. This happens in any wi-fi I'm connected to, so it's not the router in my house (besides, everything else in my house is on line fine). Also, all the other apps on my phone that require internet connectivity work fine over wi-fi as well.
I've gone through all the Facebook app settings and saw nothing out of order. I've uninstalled and cleared all data from the phone then re-installed both apps and ever rebootedd the phone after all that. Still no go over wi-fi. This issue began a few weeks ago and I figured it would clear up after awhile. It didn't.
Running a Note 4 with Lollipop. And FB worked well after the lollipop update, so I don't think that was the issue. But something certainly changed a few weeks ago.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on a fix?
