Hey guy's, I'm having a hard time getting udev to work on my desktop (Ubuntu 11.04) and I don't think I have SDK working right. I've tried Cyanogenmod's wiki and I can't get past the udev part. I installed eclipse and that almost worked but it still wouldn't recognize my phone.

I've heard gfree works and is far easier than the SDK way, but I can't find somewhere that tells me how to install and get it on my phone.

I have a good bit of experience tweaking ubuntu but some of this code stuff just confuses me. Any help would be appreciated.
