    Default "H" icon

After upgrading to cm7 my cell phone no longer shows a 4g icon but rather an h icon... see attached image please and if someone can help explain. I don't seem to be experiencing any difference in data speeds.

the 'H' is high speed packet data access. I get that alot and even H+ when i'm out and about.

Don't just worry about the 'H' icon, you not face any data speed problem.

Thats because at&t are evil and deceiptful even in 3 g 4g icon with those *** holes what it means is hspa plus meaning the greater speed it just tells on at&t when it gose to a 3g signal so theres nothing wrong with the phone or radio its just something at&t tries to hide from idiots

When u root, the phone recognizes and switches to show the real connection.

In other words, what u thought was 4G is actually H which is still fast.

At least that's what happened to my phone
