trouble updating any advice?

I am running Android 2.3.5 and from what I read on the net att pushed 2.3.6 in November. When I check for updates it says my software is up to date. Any ideas why? Is the update even worth worrying about anyway? Thanks in advance for the help.

It isn't worth worrying over. Apparently they pulled the update shortly after release. I got the update (purchased phone on release date) and didn't notice any difference.

I would just wait until ICS comes later. I had 2.3.7 on my Nexus One, and I couldn't tell the difference.

Thank you for the info. I didn't figure there was much to the update! I hope they get the ICS update gets here sober than later but somehow I doubt it will.

They said first quarter of the year, but knowing Samsung it probably won't happen until Q2 or Q3. Either way I'm looking forward to it.
