I am doubtful if it would work, but still wanted to ask here to confirm. I am getting Skyrocket from craigslist at a pretty decent price. Can I use it with prepaid $50 gophone plan from AT&T? AT&T lists their $50 prepaid plan as "unlimited-data". Does anyone know what is the usage limit on this plan, if there is any? Also, would I be able to get 4G speeds on this prepaid plan, that is if this setup would work at all?

I just helped a friend with this with a captivate. We did extensive research and it appears as if att is on to this idea. It used to work but apparently they have started an imei blacklist. Any smartphone that has been used on att supposedly won't work with the unlimited prepaid plans. He went with the tmobile unlimited prepaid and says its working fine. All you have to do is sim unlock the phone and insert the sim you got with the dumbphone.

You can give it a shot...worst case scenario is you're out $50.

Good luck!
