NFL Mobile App

Does anyone know if/when the official NFL Mobile app has been/will be released?

I've seen it previewed and working online. The droiddoes website shows the QR code for the app, but the marketplace can't find the app.

I wonder if the app got dropped, I kept texting to the number for that app from my BB Storm I and never got responses. I have not see it available for the BB either like it was supposed to be.

I was really hoping that they were still doing it since I moved to this phone also because of that Application. I like to keep up on what the other teams are doing on game day when we are at the Colts Games here in Indy!

Yea, I have it installed too. Not much there since it's the offseason but it's installed and working.

Odd. I don't see it in the Market. I tried searching in AppBrain and can't find it there either. It's funny because Verizon was pushing NFL Mobile pretty hard at the launch announcement a few weeks ago.

I have it already also...but it was only showing draft material. Maybe they took it down and are getting it prepared for the season to be starting...which I am frothing at the mouth for.

I just uninstalled the app and tried to find it but couldn't. Sounds like it was there but isn't right now.

I just got it today on my BB Storm. And it inidicated that there will be a new app on 7/23 as they are upgrading the server and app on the 20th and 21st. Looks like they are getting the thing going just in time for Training Camps.

If you enter your number on the VZW NFL Mobile web site the text that is sent back indicates the app is being upgraded and that the new version will be available for download on or after 7/22.

Hey guys. I have the NFL .apk file and have sent it to be added to another Android site to post with some other apps they have available. I will send a link as soon as it is available. Not sure if it will be tonight or tomorrow, but assume it will happen pretty quick. If you download it.now, you'll get an upgrade notice when the new app is.ready. Or just wait, but options are always nice.

Yeah it's been out since shortly before the NFL draft this past April. I used it a lot during that weekend and it worked great.

Sounds like you may need to add vcast if you want to watch redzone on the app

Yea u need the 9.99$ vcast package to watch games. Also u can't watch in stadiums or areas where there is a NFL blackout.

Unless the red zone app is different than the actual Red Zone channel, it only shows highlights of games anyways.

I don't have vcast but I can watch nfl network on it. Wonder will they still allow it once the games start.

Anyone know if we can use this to watch games through the hdmi out on the dx? That'd be amazing since I'm stuck with time Warner cable (damn monopoly) and they are in a standstill with the NFL.
