    Default PlayStation Emulator!

PlayStation on Android has arrived. I haven't tried many games out yet, but Crash Bandicoot seemed to run decently.

I just found out about this while going through appbrain.com's "hot app" list. Don't have an android phone yet but still very interested and will add this to the list of emulators that I want to put on my android device

Awesome. I have about 30 PS1 games sitting in my closet collecting dust. Finally glad to get some more use out of them. Also, how are you all going about converting the files?

Just did a quick test. It works with Crash Bandicoot: Warped. The only hurdle I have yet to encounter is getting the scph1001 file. Going to have to test out some more games before I decide if I keep or refund.

How do you make the games work?

If you have the physical discs in hand (like I do), download a program called MagicISO on your computer. This will help make the game into a file. Make sure you go:
Tools, Import ISO from CD, change output location to where you want and name the file the title of the game. Then go down and select BIN as the file type. Convert then transfer over to SD card or internal memory. Download the app, hit menu, help and read the FAQ to figure out the rest.

Anyone else stuck at authorizing payment? This is a serious pain as I paid for it but cannot download it. I emailed the dev and he basically told me I can either return it or buy it through another site, which I personally am not feeling too hot about doing. I only plan on making purchases through the Android Market as I don't trust buying 3rd party apps outside of Google.

Its a shame because this is probably the most badass thing to ever come to cell phones and I want to feel the power between my le- er hands :O

I'm also stuck at the authorizing payment message as well. I hope it'll be fixed soon.

Just played some FF7, using stock OS and it seemed a little choppy at certain points, going to upload skyraider or cryanogen and see if i notice an improvement on the performance

The app works good for an early release. I have got Gex, Wipeout, and Crash bandicoot2 to work so far. They all work good. Slightly a little choppy, but not to much.

I tried WWF War Zone, but it did not work. I was able to get to a wrestling match, but thats where it glitched up. It seems early games and "light" games are working now.
