Looking for a SimCity type game

Is there anything out there like SimCity - single player, that lets you play at your leisure and kind of let things happen while you're away?

I've tried a couple of games (names escape me at the moment), but for some reason I've been unable to successfully download and install them - I get a corrupt download or package installer error (using a Droid Eris 2.1 rooted w/extrSense)

Travian is browser game that is maddeningly slow paced. It's quite playable on the Droid. I've been playing it for several months. It has a "Sim" aspect to it, although purely defensive "simmers" tend to be despised by other more aggressive players who insist its a WAR game. You can try it out at Travian.Com. It's playable as a free game, but you'll get farther quicker if you buy "Gold" as you play. Did I say "quicker"? There is no "quick" in this game!

I haven't purchased the SNES emulator yet, I'd love to play sim city classic on my phone. Is this an enjoyable experience?

Supposedly the Xoom Family Edition and the T-Mobile edition of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 were both supposed to be bundled with Sim City Deluxe:

Were either of those true or is it all some kind of marketing mistake? Has anybody actually seen Sim City Deluxe running on an Android tablet?

I've seen one on the android store and on iTunes. But, wasn't sure. Were you able to find already?
