bought apps under one gmail address..need to change it..

i couldn't find the clear answer..

i have a gmail account i used to activate my android device and i bought apps etc with it... is there a way to change the gmail address and keep my paid apps?

You can keep the paid apps installed in the phone but they won't update unless you keep the original account they were bought for (you CAN have more than one account active in your phone, though...).

If you want to switch those apps to another account, then you'd have to contact each developer individually to see if they can/would transfer the license to another GMail account.

It does suck but it's the same with every other platform. Whatever you buy under a single user, is kept for that user. License transfers can only be granted by the app devs, not the 'stores'. If you don't mind having a second account just hanging in there, I think adding a second Google Account to your device is your best bet.
