Can't access Market

All of a sudden I can't access the Android Market. When I try to launch the market it tries to open and then closes a split second later. I've tried rebooting and did a battery pull to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

go to manage applications, clear all data from market and uninstall updates and see if that fixes the issue

The option to clear data wasn't available and I don't think there were any updates for the market to uninstall.

what phone do you have. and are u rooted. This will help find the issue

Dinc2 not rooted. I just upgraded to GB the other day, but was still able to access the Market until today.

i might try installing the leaked market and see if that works. also gb is causing a slew of problems for the inc2 i would not be surprised if this is another bug

I installed the update and it still doesn't work. So far I'm not liking GB, there have been more than a few bugs for me. However, since the update the market had been working until today for whatever reason.

Great, things keep getting better. Since I can't connect to the market, WidgetLocker won't work because it can't confirm its license. Would a factory reset possibly take care of this?

its worth a shot I can't say for a fact it will work. But considering your predicament i don't see anything to lose

Well I've contacted HTC and am waiting to hear back from them. If they can't help me I guess I'll go ahead with the reset. Thanks for all your help.

No problem HTC is pretty good about getting back to within 48hrs.

Well, I went ahead with the factory reset and that seems to have taken care of the problem. Now I have to go about restoring all my apps and programs. Thanks for all the help.

Glad u got it working factory reset are a pain I had to do one yesterday and it took me all day to get it back to normal
