I have a HTC Wildfire running Eclair 2.1. I have however rooted the phone using ClockworkMod Recovery. I have not installed any Custom ROM yet. I am running out of space on the phone and have had to remove some heavy apps that I do require. I need to move some apps to SD. My phone is not compatible with apps2sd and I am unable to install this software to do it for me.
Searching through the forums I have seen people talking about 1) partitioning the SD 2) Installing data2ext and link2sd and then moving the apps.
Do I need a custom ROM for the above process? If so, which one is best suited to the Wildfire/Buzz? Also are there other alternatives that are less complex?
