Ok... so i searched the forums and cannot find a definitive answer? Are battery pulls (like on Blackberry) good for android phones or not? Or only if *absolutely* necessary kind of thing.

The "power down by on/off key" is all that is needed?

Some people will say yes, some will say no.. Android does a really good job at using it's resources.

My philosophy, don't reboot it unless something is not working how it should. There's some points where my phone isn't rebooted for weeks, if not months..

I would only do a battery pull if it is absolutely necessary (like when the MIUI camera freezes my phone). Like others have said, Android is generally pretty good at resource management.

I don't know for sure, other than since I never turn my phone off, I figure a hard reset now and again doesn't hurt anything.

Blessings...Steve
