transferring contacts
I am getting my daughter a Droid Pro with Verizon. She now has a Bold 9650 with Sprint. My question is how do I transfer all the contacts? I would like to end up with all the contacts on Google. TIA!

Re: transferring contacts
Have you tried using the export function?
Now that I have my N1 whenever my wife says "Are you sure?" I go online and show her.

It can not ONLY make the difference between life and death from excruciatingly agonizing graft vs host disease, but it can make an enormous difference in over all health care costs. - 07-31-2011, 06:06 PM #3
Re: transferring contacts
Blackberry makes a desktop client that allows you to sync or backup to the desktop. I would try that and pull the contacts as a csv file to then upload to Google. One uploaded, she can then sync the new phone with Google to have all her contacts.
There may also be blackberry apps to backup the contacts as csv files if the above doesn't work. - 07-31-2011, 09:37 PM

Re: transferring contacts
I went to the desktop manager backup file that was created, and it wouldn't let me open it because it was an .ipd file.

Use the Google Sync app. Made by google for blackberries. It converts all your contacts to your gmail account, so as soon as you log in on your new phone they will all be there.
