Getting a Tablet

I might be getting an android tablet for my birthday in 6 days.

After researching the currently available ones, I decided a 32gb GT 10.1 would be best for me. My only question is should I wait for tegra 3 before asking for one? I know there's always something better coming out soon, but I've heard that tegra 3 tablets may be released by the end of this month!

If they were coming out this holiday, I could get a GT now because by the holidays I could sell it to a friend and purchase a tegra 3 one. I just don't want to get this and then have tegra 3 come out in a few weeks.

I doubt Tegra 3 will be here that soon. The only device so far was supposed to be Amazon's, which was slated for around November.

I though about it some more and decided that I'm going to get one. Might as well, it will be a gift and I'll definitely get my use out of it before I purchase a new one.
