Ringer in Silent Mode

I have had my Atrix for about a month now, switching from a Blackberry. The only thing I have found that I miss from my BB is the silent mode.

With my BB I could put my phone in silent mode when I went to bed and it would silent all sounds for notices except for alarms and the phone ringer. It seems when I put my Atrix in silent mode I either have to silent everything or I if I only put it in general silent mode it quiets the ringer but not notifications. I would like it to do the exact opposite, is this possible?

Go to Settings/Profiles, and play with the individual settings for each mode. Hopefully you'll get a combo that works for you.

If not, there are some profile apps in the Market which might give more options.
