As there is no forum for the Samsung Galaxy Ace I felt it would be best to put this query here.
I cannot connect to exchange by adding an account through Android (2.3.3). I get a "cannot connect to server" error.
I downloaded Touchdown and entered the same details and that works fine. However I do not want to use that programme if I don't have to not least as I would prefer to have my work (exchange) appointments side by side with my personal (google) ones.
Surely if the settings work for Touchdown they should also work for Androids built-in exchange support.
These settings also worked for my Palm Pre.
All the forums posts on this topic seemed to refer to setups which were either partly working or had worked and were now broken, nothing on a setup which never got going in the first place.
All help appreciated.
