    Default HTC Weather App

So i'm new to the android experience and i have to admit it's the best OS i've used so far. I love the weather app on my phone but i'm having a small problem. I have the widget on my homescreen set to show the weather at my current location at all times. the problem is that my current location doesn't show up in the list of cities that can be added to the weather app

Is there a way for me to add my current location or unlisted cities to the app?

Thanks in advance for any help

There is no way that I know of to add a city to the HTC Weather app. I had the same problem, used The Weather Channel widget, changed to the Accuweather widget, then went back to the HTC Weather app for the cool animations.

Once I went back to it, it began showing my correct current location. I still can't find my city in their list, but it's working anyway!

You can actually look through all the cities the HTC app has, and it is very limited. Hopefully they will work out a deal with The Weather Channel at some point to get more cities so I won't have to use both!

This was a problem for me for the last 4 months. The HTC weather app just starting saying my location was Phoenix while I live in Northern AZ. I FINALLY fixed it yesterday. Go into Settings>Location>Check the Use Wireless Networks box on. That solved it for me. Hope that works for everyone else.

Weird...my HTC weather app sometimes gets too specific. In my house, I can hit one of 3 towers, so my "current location" changes depending on the tower I'm getting it from.

    Either
    Pflugerville, TX tower
    Round Rock, TX tower
    or Travis NE, TX tower

Weird that the towers in the city limits show the city, while the one outside of the city shows the county / location.

There should be an "Add" option, displayed with a plus sign "+". Select "Add" and enter the name of the city you want to add.

I am having my own problem with the app. It has decided on a default city for me, which is incorrect. I added my own city, but I have to manually select it EVERY TIME to get the correct local weather. The app does not allow me to remove my default city. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.
