Hi again,

I'm hoping I'm not appearing really dumb asking this but I'm new to Android having jumped from Palm a couple of weeks ago. Just wondering, is it possible to save an email address that someone has sent me in a text (sms) message without having to copy and paste it into the contact book?

I know if I tap on the address it gives me the option to send an email but I don't seem to be able to save the address.

Any help much appreciated.

Just copy and paste. It should give you the option to copy it with a long press on the message.

They were trying to avoid copy/paste, hehe. ;)

I just tried this. I use google voice, and, I couldn't figure out a way to do it. Neither short or long press options had anything that would do this. But, maybe it would work with standard text messaging, I don't know.

But, if it's something you don't do very often, I'd just go with the copy/paste method.
