Starting yesterday my EVO 4G will not connect to my home Wi-Fi? It goes thru the process but gets hung up @ the message, "Obtaining IP address" and wont go any further. The PC is fine picking it up so I know the Wi-Fi is working. I tried to re-enter the router box code in the EVO and did the same thing? Any help MUCH appreciated! Thanks!

Try rebooting the modem by disconnecting the power for approximately 10-seconds and replugging it. When it reboots try connecting to the router with the Evo.

I know you said your PC is picking it up fine, but, maybe see if someone else with a smartphone can connect to it. I'm just curious if it's an issue with phones connecting to your router, or, an issue specific to your phone connecting to the router.

Additionally, try and connect your phone to another wireless network. If you can't, you know it's an issue with your phone, and, not the router. If you can, then you know it's at least isolated to your phone working with your router.
