Ok, Guys I have looked everywhere. I have a Samsung micro 16gb card. It has movies and music on it but I can't delete the files or format the card. I have tried to format it on the computer, epic 4g phone and my K1 tablet. I have used this card on epic 4g and K1 tablet. There is no switch to lock or unlock. Also it has folder called .android_secure but can't delete it.

Anyone have any ideas??

How have you tried to format it on the computer? Was it still in the phone? If not do you have another device you can use like a SD card adapter and plug into your computer if it has a SD card slot.

What error were you getting when trying to format the card?

That's odd that you can't format the card. I would suggest trying via the computer and see if that works. What happens if you try and delete the .android_secure file?

Apps that are stored on the sd card are stored in this file. If you delete it and it returns its because you are still saving apps to the sd. Check all the app settings/locations to make sure everything is stored on the device.

Some sd cards have a small switch on them that prevents deleting or formatting. Check to see if yours has one.
