Hey guys, I have a sneaking suspicion my roommate in messing with my things while I'm away. I was hoping someone could tell me how to use my phones (HTC EVO) camcorder (not still pics if I can help it, but they will do) to use as a security device.

I don't care if it's motion activated or not, I'd just as well leaving it running for a half hour or so. I would just turn on the camcorder and walk away, but whenever I press the power button to turn off the screen the camera stops recording.

I need the screen off if at all possible.

I found a free app called "motion detector pro" that will send images to my email or another phone but so far it seems wonky and it only supports still images, not video. I don't think it works once I power the screen off either.

Any solutions?
