Caution when updating your Android SDK for 4.0 (ICS)

Just a quick heads up... If the device you use has a boot loader and requires the use of fastboot.exe from the android-sdk/platform-tools/ folder to make a connection to unlock your device or flash recovery then read this...

I just found out yesterday after attempting to flash a new recovery to my device that somehow my fastboot.exe had gone missing.. Come to find out when you update your android-sdk it removes fastboot.exe from your platform-tools folder.

Thanks a LOT..

I spent hours swearing after a new Xoom and Google for removing it.
I guess I shouldn't be using Google as my search engine.

Thanks for the heads up. Haven't update SDK yet but sure to keep this in mind or at least I'll make a copy of fastboot.exe somewhere else.
