Transferring files to new phone?

I've actually already downloaded most of my apps frin tgr market to my bew phone (Rezound). But i have most of the data ans settings for those apps backed up on my old phone (DInc). What's the best way to restore those backups? I assume i just put my put my old sd card in my new phone and then perform restores in the appropriate apps. Is this the best way?

Also, what about music? I've started to put music on the Amazon cloud, but i still have songs and playlists thst exist just on my phone.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

1. what you said is probably right.
2. for music, photos, etc that are on the phone, use the USB cable to transfer them to your computer, then to the new phone. for the SD card, you can use the phone as a reader, or just plug it into the new phone... or use the computer and a reader.
