I took my extended battery out (had 75% life) and replaced it with the original battery I had (which has been sitting for a couple months).

The first thing I did was plugged it in. I got an amber light for about 10 seconds then it went out and nothing. It will do this every time I plug it in. However, it would not turn on.

So, I put my extended battery back in, and now it does the same thing -- plugged in, amber light for ~10 seconds, then it goes out. Can't turn it on.

!@#$

The extended battery should work fine. I don't know what the problem is.

Anyone know what to do?

Ok, I got it to turn on.

This was weird. So I tried a second battery (I have 3) and when I plugged that one in, it would go from 10sec amber, to flashing amber/green. I tried the extended battery again after that, and it would just go from amber to nothing.

Reseated the SIM card, then tried again, and it would charge normally with the extended battery, and booted up fine.

FWEW!
