Default trouble with recovery mode on lg optimus s

I was wondering if anybody knew of a fix or have had this problem. I rooted my duaghter's lg optimus s last night and installed rom manager to flash clockwork mod recovery and cyanogen mod. I watched a you tube video that showed someone doing this successfully. It wasnt until after the fact that I saw the warning about using rom manager with the optimus s. Now her phone has no service, 3g, or wifi capability. I can go to recovery mode, but whenever I make a selection all I get is the rom manager symbol. The only way to get rid of this is to take the battery out. Does anybody know how to fix this problem?

    Here you go.

Instructions near the bottom of the post. This should reflash the correct recovery for your device.

Thanks. I finally got it to go into recovery mode and was able to reflash the stock ROM. Will definitely delete the rom manger and install the new recovery.
