remove "please insert a sim card" mytouch 4g

i just rooted a backup phone (mytouch 4g) to use on wifi as a google voice phone. is there any app or anything that can remove it from displaying "please insert sim card" i have rooted to 2.3.5

As far as I know, if you don't have a sim card in it, it will prompt you.

If this were a tablet with Honeycomb, I could tell you what to do to get rid of the message.

But alas, it's not. Just have to live with it. Only hope would be a custom rom, with that option enabled.

thanks man. ill try to find a card thats not activated just to wipe that from being on the screen.
